Library Volunteer Information
Welcome and thank you for your interest in volunteering in the library!
Parent volunteers are a wonderful asset to our Library Media Centers.
Below are a few things that volunteers do for us--
- Checking in books
- Checking books out to students
- Shelving books
- “Reading” the shelves
- Helping with the book fair
- Assisting special projects
We are revamping our volunteer program this year. Rather than having volunteers for a particular morning or afternoon, we are looking for a "Library Parent." This individual will come assist during his/her child's class every other week. This will give the volunteer the opportunity to get to know the students in the class while also helping out in the library!
