There are no overdue fines charged at the elementary level.
If a book is lost or damaged the student will be responsible for the cost of replacing the book. Payment for lost or damaged books should be made via the SchoolPay link within PowerSchools. Replacement books are not accepted without prior approval. Please contact staff for more information.
Kindergarten students check out 1 book for the first few weeks of the school year. A second book is added once they have all demonstrated that they can independently follow check out routines.
Students in Grades 2-5 check out 2 books per visit.
Books are due 1 week after they are checked out. Books can be renewed twice giving students 3 weeks to read a book. NOTE: Popular titles can be renewed 1 time if there is a wait list.
If students forget books the day they are due, they are still allowed to check out. Students can have a maximum of 6 books checked out at a time.
